I Digress

Sometimes…

…things come along in your life, maybe it’s an event, maybe it’s a person. Anyway, this thing (let’s just say person, for simplicity), this person comes along, and it’s the exact right time and place for them to appear in your life. This person fits, like a puzzle piece of clear blue sky; it appears ordinary at a glance, but upon closer examination, it is the only piece that can fit there, and without it, your sky is incomplete. So this person comes along, and Bang! there they are: your perfect blue sky, whole and shining above you like they’ve always been there; and all you can do is spread your arms and drink it all in and smile.
